I was wrong as it was super quick and simple to build with easy to follow instructions and an allen key provided, although you do need a screwdriver to fit the wheels. This trike has lots of little extra features that I loved too such as padded harness straps and seat covers (which are washable), footrests for younger children who can not reach the peddles yet and soft easy grip handlebars and adjustable canopy. Their honestly is nothing at all that I dislike about this trike as I think that it looks great, is very practical, pushes like a dream, is lightweight and most important of all it is comfortable and fun for little ones.
