DeWalt XR stands for eXtreme Runtime, and that is what you get from these impressive cordless tools. If your item is damaged, you must sign it as damaged with the courier and do not accept the package. I put up with this as I didn’t use it much - but now I wouldn’t go back - and will probably use this more often. Make life so much esier when you have something that needs cutting, but don't have room to get a saw in. Absolutely outstanding piece of kit, whether you are cutting drywall to fit back boxes, notching out wooden joists, cutting pvc pipework etc it can do it all with total ease.The DCS355 is equipped with a LED light, which allows illuminating the work area, making it easier to see what you are cutting.
Used a couple of these now and both have been horrible to use with the visitation compared to my metabo multi tool. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. It uses the Quick-Change Accessory System that allows blades and attachments to be changed without the use of tools. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, the quick change multi tool feature makes switching blades out as simple task, unlike the cheaper multi tools I have used in the past. The connection system, I think there's about eight legs that stick out and they go into the back of the tool itself to lock it into position. The DCS355 oscillating multi-tool has a compact 300w motor which delivers 0-22,000 oscillations per minute, providing faster completion of the most demanding tasks.
Designed for fast changing, each cutting or sanding accessory can be swapped out on the fly – without the need for any tools to remove or lock anything in place. Didn't they no there could be much difference between multi tools, had a 240v before and this goes through any material with ease! My favourite power tool of all, built exceptionally well, like all of the tools in the Dewalt XR range, and really powerful for cutting metal, plastic, wood, plasterboard and brickwork.thi shoes come with a sander attachment that I’ve used only a few times yes it’s only a detail sander so don’t expect it to flat walls back . This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. As an electrician its great for cutting out boxes have also cut across floor boards with the right sharp blade. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied. Great locking mech, and brilliant battery life, plus it feels good in the hand, not to heavy or light, but well balanced.
