well i decided to try it again now that i have expanded into blv notte and blv II, which i didn't have when i used to use the blv before. About an hour later, I kept getting a wafting scent that I was drawn to, the BLV had developed into a warm ginger and vanilla with the image of purple flowers, I thought iris. The person below me said it smelled like clean sheets which I thought was an odd way of describing a scent, but I just tried Blv and it's a spot on description.

I will be testing more of this fragrance and continue my edits since I am intrigued by its uniqueness. In combination with the gentle flowers, I really like the modern light vanilla-citrus base which makes BLV both comforting and lively. Top notes are Ginger and Bergamot; middle notes are Wisteria and Flax; base notes are Musk, Sandalwood, Black locust and Vanilla. The grey is representing the smokey tobacco undertow that makes this fragrance remind me of the late Versace Man.It's also a unique scent, couse if you don't know what to put on you can use it without thinking too long. Bvlgari Blv Pour Homme Cologne opens with a soft projection of sweet, spicy, woody, green, and floral notes.

BLV besides having a fizzy ginger element, also has this really faint juniper note that I feel forms the foil to the ginger in this scent, creating a near perfect balance between the ginger and powdery essence of this scent.I'm not sure why I get a whole lot of rose (the yellow "tea rose") in the middle, as rose is not even listed, but I do not mind it at all. I am a huge fan of the Bvlgari house and Mr Alberto Morillas also being one of my Fav Nose,despite all this said, this scent and the only scent of the Bvlgari house really did not resonate well with me,sure its a well made scent, fresh and spicy, but i think its that fuzzy ginger and cardamom top that really gets to me ,i really tried to enjoy this but the top was too much for me. Even when they are not really my type of scent, which many of them are, I do think his perfumes are really well constructed. BLV has high quality and soothing deepness that caresses each layer with inviting warmth for each note.

It's an unusual, interesting scent safe enough for everyday use, Bvlgari managed to accomplish something with this, right?A decent long-lasting fragrance that reminds me of the numerous Nautica colognes as well as Alfred Sung Hei. As a perfume collector, I smell everything I can, but I seldom find something original and nice as BLV. After the initial and overpowering blast of the lemony bergamot, it settles down to a nice, feminine powdery floral. I believe it’s much softer and quite a bit less woody or spicy than the notes on this page would suggest. The staying power of BLU is excellent, and I would recommend this especially for hot summer days, when the cooling aromatics would be most welcome and a light floral touch is appropriate.
