While waiting, I learned that this converter does a bit more than just work with older joysticks as advertised. In addition to arcade sticks, it is also compatible with all official gamepads, further expanding control options (see compatibility list).

You can use this converter to play non fighting PS5 games that have a PS5 upgrade from owning the disc version of the PS4 game as the PS5 upgrade requires the PS4 disc to launch the game. There is just one thing you need to be aware of and that is will the game you're trying to play support the pad or stick you wish to use. Accepts wired FightSticks, wired gamepads and fightsticks across Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch. The controllers that I tested on were, Series X, Swith Fighting Commamder, Mayflash F300 stick, and Switch Pro controller. Leave everything else to the DualSense, but ultimately enjoy your fighting games, ladies and gentlemen.This policy is a tentative acceptance - should the converter become disabled via Sony firmware update before EVO, it could face a ban.
