I don't mind alcohol in scents but it just isn't office safe for that reason or people might think you're drinking at work.Overall it's a really nice scent, first you get something similar to the original EdT but with a little bit of extra sweetness in the background and then it evolves into a smooth, sweet-ish leather. There definitely is a difference in projection and performance between the original release and the current one but the original DNA is still there.

But then again, this thing lasted all night on my skin, whereas CH men Prive has very weak performance. So they disc, the l homme parfum and parfum intense / la nuit edp ,l a nuit bleu electrique and la nuit le parfum. Without looking at any of the ingredients or notes I would have categorized this as a woody blue scent but with enough aromatic and boozy qualities to disguise it as something else.The simple fix for longevity is using it in conjunction with Essentric Molecule 01 which extends its duration to a satisfactory 7 to 9 hours. This one, the EdP has almost the same colored bottle as La Nuit de L'Homme Intense and a name similar to La Nuit de L'Homme Parfum yet doesn't really smell like either one. I found out about this fragrance years ago by asking a guy knew what he was wearing - the one and only time I have ever asked a man about what fragrance they use. I wanted to like this because I love the LNDL line (I have the EDT, Frozen Cologne, Eau Electrique, and Blue Electrique, love them all), but unfortunately on my skin it was TOO STRONG. The leather note here is not sitting at the front of this bus and the tonka bean is a very welcomed addition that keeps the fragrance from getting too dark.

As someone with a very sensitive nose, I'm always doing my best to be considerate to others who may be similar to me - and a fragrance like this that doesn't project outside of 2-3 feet is perfect.This leans 70% masculine, but it actually beats other masculine fragrances because its sweetness is more akin to an alcoholic drink rather than the safe and cloying caramel/vanilla that some other masculine scents constantly retreat into to appear nice.
