About this deal

If you want to use it as a musical sketchbook there is no better combo than the nanoKeys Studio and Korg Gadget. In stand-alone MIDI mode you can use the supplied Korg Kontrol Editor to set up five layers of assignments of Note or CC messages. With the ability to connect to Mac, PC and iOS devices via Bluetooth or USB and housed in a compact and robust plastic construction the nanoKEY is extremely portable and is the ideal controller for travelling producers. It's travelled thousands of miles with me, it never fails to connect, and it's nice to twiddle real knobs to change parameters.

Operating from battery power and featuring 25 LED backlit pad the nanoKEYS can be used to create new and exciting melodies wherever inspiration strikes. We provide “KORG KONTROL Editor” software that lets you freely customize the settings of the nanoKEY Studio.

A low profile, bluetooth, USB-MIDI controller with 25-note keyboard and eight pads (both with velocity sensitivity), eight knobs and multi-function X-Y pad. You have the all controllers you need to operate your DAW: sliders that feature generous spacing and stroke, plus a convenient jog wheel.

Smaller than a sheet of letter-sized paper, someone can put the Studio in someoner bag and take it anywhere. It would go from 40 to 127 which was annoying for me at the time I was testing Drambo because very light sounds wouldn’t trigger. Have one and liked it alright until the upper-left most key and bottom left key quit sending out midi information. The combination of the nanoKEY Studio with Korg Gadget is the ultimate combination for mobile performance. You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.

The new rubberized velocity-sensitive drum pads feel wonderful, but upon first play I felt they weren’t sensitive enough. Designed for portability and practicality the Korg nanoKEY is a compact MIDI keyboard which can control digital audio workstations via Bluetooth connectivity. My iOS testing for the NanoKontrol Studio was predominantly in Korg’s own Gadget app; mainly because this was the only app I could find that supports it out of the box.

Any controller that you have to plug into a desktop just to change midi channel** is just plain dumb IMO. It’s a compact, mobile MIDI keyboard which is easy to travel with, allowing ease of use anytime, anywhere. The nano Studio series comes with an extravagant bundle of powerful mobile and desktop music software that includes iPad / iPhone apps, a special edition of Korg Gadget, and the Korg Collection M1 Le which includes plug-in versions of classic Korg instruments.

There’s no mention of Reason (which is strange as Reason Lite is the one bundled DAW), but it does work up to a point via the Mackie emulation. The Korg NanoKey Studio is a compact 25-key MIDI keyboard that comes equipped with 25 velocity-sensitive backlit keys as well as eight performance pads, eight control knobs, and a touchpad alongside a wealth of professional functions and controls. Positiv überrascht war ich von der mitgelieferten light-Verion von Korg Gadget (quasi ein DAW mit integrierten Synthesizern). Bluetooth and the parts of an old NI 4Control MIDI controller that also merges incoming data with the MIDI from the Keystep so I can use both over Bluetooth. That means you can do away with the pesky wires that manage to tangle in your rucsack and connect straight to your device. But it needs a powerbank to be portable - and how do I connect the iPad if the USB port is used for power? Maybe it’s amazing craftsmanship, but it could also be fear of disappointing my wife who got me the OP1 for christmas.
