The overall effect is very clearly there for about seven hours on my skin, but it's very soft, gentle and clean.This was one of the first perfumes I bought that kind of got me to move away from fresh and fruity and into the warm floral/floral orientals for wintertime. And my main takeaway is that I got the apple scent, but I have other apple fragrances that do it better. I spray this in warmer and cooler weather ( 75-45 F) for casual wear (errands, laying around the house) and it's light enough for even the office. A sensual and warm evocation of a New York state of mind, the DKNY Golden Delicious scent reveals its elegance in its rich and discerning accords. Or sometimes just because I want to even if I am in my Pyjamas because it smells so warm and comforting x.

It would be great as an everyday perfume, and I think it would suit all ages as it's not girly sweet. Except J'adore is much more expensive and slightly sharper in the jasmine department, this one is warmer and plushier. The original is something every other woman is wearing and even though it's lovely, I'm a bit tired of smelling it everywhere. This is the latest of DKNY that I have in my property, an elegant perfume, the finer occasions to wear. The initial introduction is a little too harsh for my liking but it does soon turn into something fruity and floral. A gentle embrace by the elegant lily of the valley lends an unmistakable white floral vibe, which is tempered by a solid woody base which gives it depth. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates.

The middle note surprises with an intoxicating bouquet of white roses, Casa Blanca lily, vanilla orchid and lily-of-the-valley, while a sensuous blend of musk, sandalwood and teak provide a warm finish. I also wore Nina Ricci L´Elixir the other day and truly enjoyed it) that have no cloying vanilla in them.The teakwood is a base note I don't have much experience with, but it's a gorgeous complement to the sandalwood and musk. I try not to wear this one out of the house because I can't help but compulsively sniff myself the entire time which is really awkward. I really want to love this fragrance, nothing is wrong about it, but it smells to me too identical to original green apple one. DKNY Be Delicious is too sharp and familiar to me-- it smells almost exactly like Bath and Body Work's Beautiful Day.
