The cover sheet is both water and UV proof, so this is just as useful in a downpour as it is in the middle of the desert, and there is an air vent at the very top (although Coleman advise against cooking under it. The living area is 9m2 and in the centre there is a hook to hang your light so that you can sit out well after dark enjoying the event shelter’s benefits! Steel Poles: The Shelter's structure is constrcuted from several 19mm steel poles - these are incredibly sturdy and hardwearing, they offer increased strength for large shelters.

The M (3 x 3 or 10 x 10ft) Coleman® Performance Event Shelter is the smallest in the range but perhaps the most useful , great for creating a little outdoor space or as an addition to your family camping kit. I purchased the 15x15 and god its massive you need a step ladder just to help you but once up in around 20mins the space really comes handy if raining or looking to keep out of the sun and great for cooking on camp stoves. Since our first tent which was useless we have always had Coleman ones (I only say ones as we have been fortunate to try out a few for the blog, you really only need one as the quality will not let you down) and I would always say choosing a Coleman tent won’t leave you disappointed.This bundle includes the four sunwalls which provide added privacy and protection from the sun and wind. Once up the shade is excellent with the cover being securely fastened by clips and Velcro, you’d have no issues about this blowing away!
This is a great piece of kit, however it is quite chunky, so you must bear this in mind if space is a factor for you. Proper use of sunscreen combined with shelters made with UVGuard™ protection fabric can go a long way in the battle against sunburn and UV exposure. Although we're not usually ones to pick out any one item from our back catalogue of reviews, we have to say that one of the best things we were sent this summer was the portable gazebo from Aldi's Camping Range. With a generous size of 3 x 3 meters, the shelter offers ample space for gatherings, making it perfect for picnics, barbecues, camping trips, sporting events, and more.being able to whip up a quick sun shelter when enjoying the summer weather was life-saving, and definitely something we'll continue to use.
It also survived strong winds but we had to use stronger pegs than were provided for the feet and make sure that the guys were used and tight. The areas of the tent rigorously assessed within WeatherTec™+ system include: fabrics, flysheet and ground sheet seams and zipper water tightness. Investing in a really good stove with family camping is imperative as trying to cook against the wind on something flimsy just doesn’t cut it. The Event Shelter is the best gazebo to use as a camp kitchen, sun tent or canopy on small family holidays or events. Certified laboratory testing proves Coleman® UVGuard™ protection fabrics with an SPF50 provide excellent protection against the sun’s ultraviolet rays.Combine that with pegs which can pin those feet down, and guy ropes to fasten it to the ground to prevent against wind issues, and you might consider moving into it permanently (especially because Coleman also separately sells walls to turn it into a full-blown tent). If you vary just a little from the desired shape, then it is very hard to get the material to attach to the poles and this could also cause leaking in heavy rain.
