About this deal

Top notes are Lemon Zest, Bergamot, Mint and Artemisia; middle notes are Lavender, Pineapple, Geranium and Green Notes; base notes are Sandalwood, Cedar, Amberwood, Iso E Super and Tonka Bean. BDC Parfum, actually bought by coincidence since it wasn't what I was actually looking for, but figured I'd been wanting a chanel perfume for long so I bought BDC Parfum 50 ml for 85 euros (discount on everything), didn't try it that much. Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne is so much better, not only scent wise, where it s much more bright, natural and complex but also performance,Elysium radiates off my skin.

They are almost exactly the same to me for the top and mid, but the drydowns are completely different. BLEU DE CHANEL offers a full line of shaving and body products for an intensified scent throughout the day. It opens with powerful freshness, then lingers with a precious accord of New Caledonian sandalwood that unfurls its generous, powerful notes in a dense and sophisticated trail. Out of the three bdc line, this one is more woody, some say more mature, well, may be more rounded and complete. Still, I found the DNA so addictive and versatile that I got testers for the OG EdT and not just the Parfum version.

I put off trying this for a long time because I thought this would be another boring citrus fresh blue scent.

It's beautiful, clean, and also due to the woodiness is perfect for daily wear in the winter or colder climates (as well as being suited for all seasons). I’d avoid this one in high heat just due to it being heavier and sweeter than the lighter concentrations. I’m on the red carpet in Hollywood with a young, sultry Sophia Loren in a silk gown hanging on my arm…and I’m the shizznit! This definitely doesn't give me mature vibes as some people allude but a mature man absolutely could wear it of course. It's because the others require a specific scenario and mood, this doesn't, this just covers everything. before you know it your entire office or apartment starts to smell like Bleu, and I like that a lot. Whilst the familiar citrus opening is survives from the EDT and EDP (perhaps minus the grapefruit), this is where the similarities end.

Sprayed this on after almost a year, i forgot i had it TBH, put to the side usually in place of more recent acquisitions. Bought one From Macys, spray 8 times on my dad and 2 hours later I could BARELY smell it on the clothes. The EDT is more citrusy, ozonic, 'blue' and in damp and cool, but also more heavy on the ambrox in the base giving off more of a shower gel vibe as it dries down. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all the fragrances in my collection, and there are houses that are very well blended as well, Prada being one that i think has better blends than the rest of the designer world. I know many will disagree but to me the EDP and especially this 'Parfum' version are simply cashing in on the success of the original which Dior have mimicked with their overrated Sauvage line (at least the EDT had something to say in a harsh synthetic way I guess).

ALCOHOL | PARFUM (FRAGRANCE) | AQUA (WATER) | LIMONENE | CITRONELLOL | LINALOOL | CITRAL | COUMARIN | GERANIOL | FARNESOL | EVERNIA PRUNASTRI (OAK MOSS) EXTRACT | BENZYL ALCOHOL | CI 60730 (EXT. Creates a fairly good silage trail around you and lingers in the air for a few seconds even after you leave a room without being too potent. EDP/EDT share pepper notes with Eros Flame which don't seem to be listed here for Parfum, but there's definitely providing that spice, and I wish there were more of it.I am not the freshy type of guy, but this one, the parfum, this is a perfect masculine scent for every occasion. You can find many aspects in this fragrance, some of them seemingly opposite - sweet, salty, cool, warm, natural, chemical - and they blend exquisitely.
