The violet does remind me of Parma Violets, but I do not find the perfume especially sweet, probably because the tangerine, though fruity, cuts through the floral vibe. Judging from the release date, it makes sense they tried to create a fragrance like Acqua di Gio Profumo, with a bit more modern touch and to me they succeeded. With three notes plus the performance issues (I don't want to have to work so hard to remember I'm wearing something).The Bentley for Men line is known for strong fragrances, so this is definitely the part that disappointed me the most. It opens powdery then sweet and fruity and the drydown still has that powdery scent with a touch of amber woodiness. I can't wai tto see what this dries down to for the end stage, but I will be asleep by the time that hits tonight. In 2018 Bentley released "Bentley For Men Black Edition", which is an amber spicy fragrance for men.
